Here you will find a collection of the ribbonwork and ribbon flowers we hand make using traditional methods.
Each flower starts with our own individually dyed ribbon. We then fashion each element using traditional French ribbonwork and millinery techniques.
Our ribbonwork appliques are attached to crinoline backing and these pieces are perfect for adding to lampshades, pillows, albums, wall hangings and quilts, or pins and hair clips.
In days past, pieces like these were tacked onto garments by small basting stitches. These flowers were then removed for laundering or for reusing on other garments. Today most of our customers use snaps or buttons.
